Stay informed

At the airport
- Find the latest airline schedules from OAG and links to airline websites.
- Check airport updates by ICAO for the latest information, when to arrive and what to expect.
- Some airlines have introduced rapid COVID-19 tests to detect antibodies and check-in kiosks that monitor temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate. Allow adequate time.

Car hire, ride sharing and trains
- Many car hire companies now have protective measures like advanced sanitation and the ability to pay for your rental at the time of pick-up with no cancellation fees.
- Study safety measures and rules from car hire companies.
- Check the COVID-19 pages of ride-sharing companies, such as Uber and Lyft.
- Check rail schedules before you travel. Some trains are operating at limited capacity.
- On trains, practice physical distancing where possible, by sitting two rows apart.
Staying overnight
- Your safety is the highest priority. Follow the steps outlined above to Stay Informed and Focus on Safety.
- Many hotel chains have promoted new cleaning policies. Check the hotel’s website for updated policies effective during your stay, or contact the hotel directly for the latest information.
- Independent hotels may not have the same marketing resources, but many are also taking a cue from bigger chains and applying local regulations.
